Season Paper X Elise Lefebvre. The pattern and the material.
Ceramist for more than 15 years and installed in her studio in Limoges since 2015, Élise Lefebvre explores animal and floral themes with a cheerful poetry. Drawings and colour mingle on the delicate and warm surface of the earthenware to compose collections of living objects with sensitive decorations and simple shapes.
Animals and plants being themes dear to our two worlds, we wanted to entrust Élise with one of our emblematic patterns, Animalia, and gave her carte blanche to redraw and compose it on enamelled earthenware pieces. Together we imagined a collection of six office objects: a pencil holder, tray, cup, platter, small and large vases, available in 2 colour ranges, night and mist. The Tall Vase Dromandaire Brume is a unique piece, entirely handmade by Élise.
